Budgetary Allocation
The expenditure is shared between State and Central Govt. The central government gives is 60% and remaining is provided by the state government. The cooking cost, infrastructure development, payment of honorarium is shared by central and state. The central government provides free food grains to the states.

Additional Nutritional Support by State Government A.P
- Provision of Eggs 5days in a week classes I to X
- Addition of Supplementary Nutrition – Chikki – I to X classes.
- Enhanced remuneration to CCHs @ Rs.2000 – All classes.
- Revised Enhanced Cooking cost @ 40/43 paise/student - Menu started from 21.01.2020 for I to X classes
Cook cum Helpers
- A provision is made for payment of honorarium to cook-cum-helper @ Rs.1000 +Addnl.Rs.2000=3000/- per month 88296 cook cum helpers are engaged in our State for this year.
- One Cook-Cum-Helper for 1 - 25 student
- Two Cook-Cum-Helpers for 26 - 100 students.
- For every 100 students one additional Cook-Cum-Helper is given.
Foodgrains & Transportation Charges: for I – VIII classes
- Food-grain Rs. 3000/- per MTs for I to VIII classes provided by GOI.
- Transportation charges @Rs.750/- per MT should be paid to lifting agency i.e. AP Civil Supplies Corporation ltd.
Govt.of A.P- Provided Rice and Transportation for IX & X classes
- Food-grain Rs. 33000/- per MTs for IX to X classes provided by GOAP.
- Transportation charges Rs.750/- per MT should be paid to lifting agency i.e. AP Civil Supplies Corporation ltd.
